Going 2D

So for a while into this game jam, I was thinking 3d world. Exploring the ocean and hitting a storm. But I quickly realized how difficult that was going to be in such a short amount of time. And I couldn't get behind it.
So I completely did a 180 on the project and went 2d.
And the player's boat would be in constant motion, while avoiding obstacles along the way. Eventually, you will reach safety.
But before you reach safety, you have to get through a progressively more difficult storm.
